I'm an editor at Talking Points Memo, where I oversee special projects and the site's subscription program.
Before that, I was a producer for Bill Moyers and WNYC, and a writer for Grist.
My writing has also been published by The Atlantic, Reuters, City & State, Mother Jones, Salon, Slate, Vox, Worth, and Al Jazeera, and broadcast on Public Radio International. My work has been supported by grants from The Nation Institute Investigative Fund and the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Awards, and has been included in ProPublica's #MuckReads collection. I grew up in New Jersey, studied history and film at Oberlin College, and got my master's degree in journalism from Columbia University.
