I'm Talking Points Memo’s special projects editor. That means I oversee our groundbreaking membership programs, investigative series’ and podcast, and help with our day-to-day news coverage.
Before that, I was a producer for Bill Moyers and WNYC, and a writer for Grist.
I continue to write widely, often on environmental policy and climate change. My work has been published by The Atlantic, Reuters, City & State, Mother Jones, Salon, Slate, Vox, Worth, and Al Jazeera, and broadcast on Public Radio International. It has been supported by grants from The Nation Institute Investigative Fund and the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Awards, and included in ProPublica's #MuckReads collection.
I grew up in New Jersey, studied history and film at Oberlin College, and got my master's degree in journalism from Columbia University.
